Back in the Swing of Things!

Wow! After all that crazy summer stuff I am exhausted. Like all of you, I feel like things are finally regular again too. I like having a schedule. Of course it's only going to get crazy again.

Once Volleyball and Soccer start it will be constant practices going on. Then I start school the 29th of September Yep, two weeks! Wow I can't believe it. I will have to go up next week to get books and all that, and to make sure I can get into my math class I want.

Then It's work on Mondays and Wednesdays until 5. School on Tuesday and Thursdays until 6. Luke to the sitter in the morning after the kids are off to school. The 3 older kids here at the shop after school until 5. That's not including practice schedules however they may fall. Girl Scouts on Mondays, I'm leading brownies and juniors right now. I would love to have a friday morning devotional with some women in the community, but don't think it will happen. ....Like I don't have enough on my plate ;)LOL!

So everyone at the starting gate! Here we go! ;)

My Morgan is such a little photo bug! She loves the modeling too :)
What a surprise huh?

Memorial weekend

This was a great trip. My grandparents, mom, Glenn and I went up the coast!
Grandma had to touch the sea creatures at the undersea gardens
this was so beautiful. The coast that weekend was filled with sea life! I chose on of hundreds to show you :)

Grandpa liked it too :)

Gods beauty every day huh?

We took a scenic route going up to Tillamook. I don't recommend the road, but this one part was gorgeous!!!! Made it worth it.

see what I mean????

There was also a fish hatchery...a really small one that we stopped at and watched him feel the little fish and then we feed the monsters!!!

Grandma taking pics of the cheese factory...lol!

Yes, Glenn loves cheese

The Colonel and I had dinner one night together.

This Victorian home is gorgeous they have it all decked out in original furnishings also and history everywhere!!!! I loved it!

I can't remember the name of this one... man I should have done this page sooner! :)

Glenn took a nap on the ship at the maritime museum.

It's Movie Time!

I love movies! I love action, drama, romance, comedy....all of it. I really love the old stuff, black and whites- they're the best! So I got registered with blockbuster.com so that I could start renting movies again. With summer here I'll watch two a night sometimes after the kids are in bed. I found some good ones that I wanted to share.

"Gran Torino"
This movie was so good. Leave it to Clint Eastwood to give you a quality, heart wrenching and real film. As good as "Million Dollar Baby" which if you haven't watched you need to!

"Underworld"

I didn't watch this one for a while because I didn't know what it was about. I loved it however, of course I like vampire movies so Lisa...probably not your cup, but hold on there's more coming! :)

"Taken"

Okay, now this one is good. I was so impressed with how real it was. Weak stomachs beware though this is a very real movie about horrible things that can happen to you. While there is no blood and guts stuff it is about being sold into sexual slavery. I loved it though, and it makes me very aware of my own children's safety.

"Seven Pounds"

Here is one for Lisa, if you haven't seen it yet please do. While the beginning can get a little confusing, it will come together and leave you replaying it in your own mind to put together all the things that were never said.

"The Children of Huang Shi"

#1!!!!! The BEst!!!!! Watch This!!!!

I loved it, it's hard, its loving, it's real of course and those are always the best ones!!!!

Just watch it!

Girl Scout Luau!

We had a Mother - Daughter Luau the other day. It was so much fun! To see the older girls working with the little ones was just exciting for me. I can't believe my Morgan is getting so big.

Brooke and Noelle learned an authentic Hula to perform for us.
And we played really fun relay games. Including a tacky tourist dress relay. And a coconut between the legs relay.

The food was great. Pork shishkabobs and fruit salad yum!!!

All our scouts :)

something hard.

In the midst of my life right now I have run into something difficult. A conflict between myself and someone I am working close with right now. I have been humiliated, embarassed, hurt by their words and actions and now I don't know what to do. It seems so petty to be hurt over something that seems so trivial in my life and to let someone affect me so over something that I know is not true, but I am still torn by it. I must continue this working relationship for the time being, at least until ball is over and yet don't know what to do.

I'm not someone who likes confontation I hate it even more when someone is upset with me. It makes me feel as if I failed in some way. However, I am not going to stand by and be treated unfairly or like dirt for the rest of this season. So what do I do?

I turned to God. Driving to my dentist appointment today I forgot my cell phone turned off the radio and listened. I sat in the car, still nothing. So I unzipped my bible cover and like always asked God to point me in the right direction to give me a verse that would tell me what I am to do.......here it is. Jeremiah 48:10 "Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood."

What does that mean?? Help!!!

My Morgan

My Little Morgan completely blows me away sometimes!
These are some of her photographs she's taken. I love to see what she see's and I love how she's the kind of artist and photographer that can really show you something more in a picture than just the tree or the grass. There's life and creation and love in the pictures she takes.

Ice Cream

We had "the girls" over the other day. :) Mikayla and Breanna. so all the kids had ice cream bars on the porch. It was a fun day! I just love pictures that tell stories.

Face Painting!

They just started a farmers market on Sundays. It's really starting to grow and I love it!!! I got homemade soap with blueberry seeds in it. I love it! The kids got their face painted. It was only $2.00 for the three older kids and $1.00 for the little one :) What a fun thing we have to do together now!

Mom's Building

Mom's building is coming along great! The warm weather has made it possible to start working hard :) The church men came out last week and helped do some and then Glenn, Grandpa and Mom worked on it the past two days.

Of course my little ones love ot help too :)

Mom had to save the baby birds :) They were living inside the wall and we had to board it up so we took the nest out and put it in a bird house. We' ve moved the house 4 times now trying to work around it without taking it too far from its origin so mama wont loose them :)
